Shortlist two different kinds of show

For physical comedy, compare The Play That Goes Wrong at the Duchess Theatre. For a short musical, SIX at the Vaudeville Theatre runs around 80 minutes without an interval. For an evening built around familiar songs, consider MAMMA MIA! at the Novello.

Get the numbers before you collect money

Set the maximum ticket cost including fees, the headcount and the minimum number of adjacent seats you need. Ask the seller about payment deadlines, whether a group rate applies and what happens if somebody drops out. Let people share access requirements privately so you can check arrangements with the venue.

Work backwards from curtain-up

Pick a meeting point near the theatre and send the exact venue name with the performance time. If you want dinner first, ask the restaurant how long they need for your group and allow time for the walk and theatre entry. Check which tickets are issued individually and who will distribute them.

Show details can change. Confirm dates, access requirements and prices before booking.
